Source Galileo is a pan-European renewable energy developer headquartered in Dublin. With a development portfolio of approximately 10GW, our projects span across Ireland, Norway, and the UK. While the company specialises in offshore wind energy, we also have teams working on battery storage, solar, and hydrogen projects across the UK and Ireland. 

Source Galileo's flagship project is a 75MW floating offshore wind farm currently under development on the edge of the Barents Sea. The company operates from three main offices in Dublin, London, and Haugesund. 

Opportunities with Source Galileo

We are seeking interns to join our Dublin team in June 2025. These roles will offer exposure to different departments, including engineering, corporate finance, and operations, depending on your area of study. From technical roles like renewable energy engineering and data analysis to business-focused positions in project development, policy advocacy, and reporting, our internship program offers you the flexibility to pursue a career path that aligns with your passion and skill set. 

Below is a brief overview of the various facets of the company you may be involved with during an internship with us. 

Engineering 

The Engineering team at Source Galileo is crucial in supporting our projects through a wide range of technical tasks. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can work across multiple projects and collaborate with various Project Managers. Responsibilities may include energy analytics and modelling, offshore and marine engineering, grid engineering, metocean modelling, procurement, and tender reviews, among other areas. 

Corporate Finance 

The Corporate Finance team at Source Galileo provides essential financial expertise to drive the success of our projects. We are seeking a versatile individual who can manage multiple tasks and work closely with the finance team. Key responsibilities include financial analysis and modelling, budgeting and forecasting, market analysis, and benchmarking, contributing to the financial health of our initiatives. 

Operations 

The Operations team at Source Galileo is the heart of the business and is a unique opportunity to understand how projects are managed, maintained and optimised for efficiency and sustainability. The Operations team requires flexibility and adaptability across various responsibilities, from managing daily business operations and HR, Legal and IT activities to providing project support and optimising processes. The workload is diverse, ensuring efficient operations across the organisation.
